February is the best known as the month of love because of Valentine’s Day. For all HeartKids and their loved ones, it is also “HeartKids Awareness Month”. Childhood Heart Disease (CHD) is one of the most common birth abnormalities and the objective of this month is to raise awareness of this disease and raise vital funds to continue the work of HeartKids in Australia.
Cuppa for HeartKids
Running throughout August and September, Cuppa for HeartKids is a national awareness and fundraising campaign to support HeartKids and its work.
Mad Hatters Tea Party

The Heart Beads Program hopes to enrich the experience of cardiac patients and their families at children’s hospitals throughout Australia. Children are rewarded with distinctive beads specific to each procedure or treatment for their courage and the beads help them tell their story.
