The Sweetheart Day Photo Challenge
Sweetheart Day 2017 is fast approaching! In less than a month on February 14 we raise awareness and funds through our annual flagship campaign, Sweetheart Day.
It’s such an important event for us and we hope to reach as many Australians as possible to raise awareness of childhood heart disease, and raise the vital funds to support as many families affected as possible.
VISIT: www.sweetheartday.org.au to get involved.
The Sweetheart Day Photo Challenge is one of the fun ways you can help us to raise awareness of this important time of year.
What is the Sweetheart Day Photo Challenge?
It’s a really easy way to share some of your own photos in a lovely community minded way. The ‘challenge’ aspect involves daily prompts for the month of February to inspire your photo taking, many of these prompts are HeartKids and Sweetheart Day themed!
Simply check the daily prompt and take a photo inspired by the word, everyone is welcome to join the challenge and it is not about being a perfect photographer or taking the perfect photo! It is all about community, kindness and being a part of the amazing HeartKids family.
There is no pressure, you can do all of the days or only a few, whatever works for you. Simply share your photos on Instagram and use the hashtags #8toomany and #sweetheartday so we can find you. You are also welcome to tag us in your photos @heartkids.
If you’re not on Instagram you can also share your photos on Facebook, if you set the privacy of the photos to public we can find you! Twitter works well too if you prefer to tweet them!
If you have any questions at all please send them to our Social Media Manager: firstname.lastname@example.org and she would be more than happy to help you get involved.
