Ride 4 HeartKids
Get on your bike and take the challenge!
Congenital / childhood heart disease is the biggest killer of infants in Australia, every day 8 children are born with this condition and every week sadly 4 lives are lost.
Now we are giving you the chance to do something about this and help fundraise for HeartKids.
Ride for HeartKids is a cycling charity event raising vital funds for HeartKids, the only Australian charity dedicated to supporting children, teens and adults affected by congenital / childhood heart disease.
In 2016/2017 we raised an incredible $40,000.
This year is going to be bigger and better than ever before and you can get involved by making a donation or getting on your own bike.
Whilst a team of riders take part in events across NSW, VIC and the ACT at the end of 2017, throughout the month of February 2018 you too can get on your bike and join the fundraising challenge!
You can register to cycle in any riding event across NSW, VIC and the ACT as part of the Ride 4 HeartKids team whilst fundraising for HeartKids. Just register yourself below.
If you're unable to get to an organised riding event, but you would still like to complete some kilometres and fundraise for HeartKids then you can register to take part at home.
You can register to complete one of the following event distances:
- Children’s event: 20 km.
- Beginners: 100 km.
- Intermediate: 500 km.
- Team and Advanced: 1000 km.
Complete your kilometres on a road bike, a mountain bike, a BMX ... or even a stationary trainer – just be sure to record all of them on Strava to count towards the total!
