Jon and I have signed up to compete in True Grit to help us raise money for Heart Kids. We even managed to rope in some amazing friends to join our team Simon, Laura, Channon and Sam! True Grit is a military style 10km obstacle course which is taking place on the 4th of December 2021**.

It’s been really challenging watching so many children in our heart community pass away from CHD recently. This is the reality that we face on a daily basis. Arthur’s diagnosis is life limiting and his treatment is considered palliative. Advances in CHD have come along way, but there is still along way to go. It’s time we do our bit! Raising funds for HeartKids leads to more awareness of CHD, research funding and support programs so no family going through this feels alone.

**Unfortunately TrueGrit WA has been postponed until the 4th of December due to the WA hard border. We are still committed to attending and supporting HeartKids and can't wait for to participate!
