HeartKids is pleased to announce that "Be A Hero For HeartKids" will be going ahead. This year, HeartKids will hold the major event on Friday, 18th June 2021. So, save the date and start spreading the words.
There are many activities you could participate in, either yourself, your family, friends, relatives, co-workers, or your health care teams also can get involved by the following:
1. Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for types of challenges and events you would like to do and host during June. They can be anything from a marathon to a baby shower. The EOI application will open on 4th May and close on 18th May 2021.
2. Fundraise for us with HeartKids' fundraising platform or your chosen platform.
3. Dress up as HeartKids' heroes. Use these hashtags throughout our social channels #heartwarrior #superhero. See some ideas here. We encourage you, your co-workers, your kids' schools, or even your health care team to participate.
4. Take on our Superhero Challenge, which will consist of 3 categories: The Flash & Thor Challenge (Flexibility & Strength), The Club Challenge (Team & Alliance), and Wonder Women Challenge (Arts to Science). From these three options, we will choose one to be carried out forward in "Be A Hero For HeartKids."
