Supercheap Auto today announced a multi-year partnership with HeartKids that will help raise awareness, funding and support for children, teenagers and adults impacted by congenital heart disease.
Supercheap Auto’s Australian stores and team members will participate in major campaigns and activities with HeartKids from 2022.
A Supercheap Auto customer initiative will allow for donations to HeartKids at in-store checkout.
Managing Director Benjamin Ward in announcing the partnership today said, "HeartKids Australia perform an amazing role in the community, supporting kids and their families with their congenital heart disease journey. With more than 280 stores across Australia, our widespread geographical reach will drive further awareness of the vital work and support HeartKids Australia contributes to so many communities. The support they provide is critical and we want to help in their mission to give everyone, every chance to live a long and healthy life."
Commenting on the announcement, CEO of HeartKids Fiona Ellis said, "We could not do what we do without the generosity of partners like Supercheap Auto and all their amazing customers. Funds raised will help our support teams provide a wide range of services to heart kids and their families, including financial support, counseling, peer-to-peer support, accommodation, and many other services. We are excited to be teaming up with Supercheap Auto to raise awareness and funds which will help us deliver services to many more heart kid families, making their lives a little bit easier when they are at their most vulnerable.
