To our valued community members and supporters
HeartKids would like let you know that Rob Lutter has given notice of his resignation as CEO of HeartKids to pursue other opportunities. His last day of employment will be Friday 28th August 2020.
Rob was recruited as the CEO of HeartKids in January 2019. He has led and motivated a highly skilled and resilient team of managers and staff throughout Australia. They have worked tirelessly, including through challenging times such as the bush fires in late 2019 and the COVID-19 pandemic, to provide services to children, young adults and adults with congenital (or acquired during childhood) heart disease (CHD) and their families and carers.
Rob leaves HeartKids in a strong position, with the skills and resources to implement the National Strategic Action Plan for CHD, deliver innovative education and support programs for children and young adults with CHD, and continue to foster and secure investment in critical research in CHD.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of HeartKids, I would like to thank Rob for his contribution to the organisation.
The Board is now in the process of recruiting a Chief Executive Officer to lead HeartKids in implementing our progressive agenda to deliver innovative projects, programs and services which make a tangible impact on the lives of infants, children, young people and adults impacted by CHD.
Thank you for your ongoing support for HeartKids which the Board and I greatly appreciate.
