New CEO Announced

HeartKids is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Rob Lutter as the new Chief Executive Officer of HeartKids.

 

Rob Lutter is currently the CEO of HeartKids New Zealand, a role which he has held since 2014, and the father of a heart kid. He brings to the role of CEO of HeartKids Limited a deep passion about providing support and services for heart kids and their families along with extensive experience in business and the not-for-profit sector, including delivery of programs and services, fundraising and advocacy.

 

Commenting on the appointment, HeartKids Chairperson, Jan McClelland AM said, “Rob Lutter has been appointed as CEO of HeartKids after an extensive and highly competitive recruitment process. The Board looks forward to working with Rob in leading the HeartKids team and working with the broader HeartKids community in the delivery of critical programs and services to heart kids and their families and in pursuing our strategic objectives of support, information, research and advocacy.”

 

“The Board would also like to take the opportunity to acknowledge the work and contribution of Rob Daly as Acting CEO over the past three months. Rob has demonstrated the highest levels of professionalism and dedication to the role and the Board thanks him for his leadership of the organisation during this time.”

 

Rob Lutter will commence in the role of CEO of HeartKids on 7 January 2019 and he will be based in Melbourne. Rob Daly will continue in the role of Acting CEO until this time.
