Volunteer to Door Knock
As well as volunteering at one of our many Sweetheart Sites across Australia, we are also encouraging our volunteers to join our new Door Knock Campaign!
This will be our first ever Sweetheart Door Knock Campaign and for a few days during the month of February, we are encouraging all Door Knockers to visit their neighbours, knock on their door, and ask them to make a donation towards supporting families affected by congenital/childhood heart disease for Sweetheart Day!
HeartKids relies heavily on the support of the general public and with the support of door knock volunteers, we will be able to make even more of an impact within the heart kid community!
You will be provided with everything you need, including all the guidance you need to help you with what to do. All Door Knock Volunteers will receive a HeartKids Volunteer Pack which includes the following:
- A HeartKids volunteer t-shirt
- Your own unique ID card and lanyard
- Sweetheart Day donation box and receipt booklet
All we ask is that you door knock in your area asking people to support Sweetheart Day by making a donation!
To get involved, simply click here and complete the expression of interest form, and we will be in touch with you shortly!

During Sweetheart Day this February, and all across Australia, we have a number of merchandise stalls in train stations, streets and shopping centres, with volunteers collecting donations and selling Sweetheart Day merchandise.
