About Organisation
The work undertaken by Dandelion fills a service gap in the community service industry and is built on a partnership model, working alongside social workers and case managers to support families. Dandelion partners with some amazing agencies and support services who work with some of the most vulnerable families in our communities. We rely on social workers to share with us what families really need and to ensure our donations find a suitable home where they truly make an impact.
Our volunteers carefully prepare each item, knowing that without our support, these families would go without. Most of the material goods we provide aren’t luxury items. They are items critical to the health and well-being of babies and children.
Though we do not meet the clients we assist, our services and your generous donations directly support some of the most disadvantaged families and children in the wider community. Â The people we support may be living in housing stress, escaping domestic violence and abuse, living with mental health issues or refugees making a new life for their family. Your support could be life changing.
