Biography
Dominica trained in cardiology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. She subsequently completed a PhD at the University of Melbourne, titled Cardiac Structure and Function during Human Pregnancy.

She is on staff at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, participating in the general cardiology and echocardiography services, as well as several subspecialty areas.

She consults at both the Adult Congenital Heart Disease service and the Cardiac Genetic Clinic at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Dominica is the Clinical Lead of the Cardiac Pregnancy service, which she co-founded with colleagues from both the Royal Melbourne and Royal Women’s Hospitals in 2013.

Dominica has had ministerial appointments to the Therapeutic Goods Association on the Advisory Committee on Medicines since 2014 and will complete her current term end 2025.

She holds a number of positions on the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand, and is the current Treasurer, an elected Board member and the Chair of the Quality Standards Committee. She is actively engaged with ongoing clinical research projects and is involved in national and international research collaborations. Her ACHD and obstetric cardiology practice occur at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
