Biography
Kate was born and educated in the UK, and after cardiology training in Yorkshire and completing a PhD at the University of Sheffield, she spent 20 years as a consultant in ACHD in the NHS. She re-located to Australia with her family in 2024. In the UK she led the adult congenital heart programme across Yorkshire, managing a large cohort of ACHD patients across the region through a well-established multi-disciplinary team of physicians, surgeons, specialist nurses, psychologists, and physiotherapists.
Kate has always played an active role in the education of doctors, allied health professionals and patients, running courses and speaking at multiple educational events.
