Biography

Dr Alex Roati is a Director of the Queensland Cardiovascular Group, practicing general cardiology and interventional cardiology. He holds clinical interests and expertise in coronary angiography, coronary angioplasty and stenting, including the provision of urgent interventional services to patients with acute coronary syndromes.

Dr Roati graduated from the University of Queensland Medical School, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He undertook advanced training in cardiology at both The Prince Charles and Townsville Hospitals. He was awarded a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne, before returning to Brisbane in 2005 to take up an Associateship with QCG and VMO position at The Prince Charles Hospital.
