Biography
Dr Wright-Smith is an interventional cardiologist. He is highly experienced in the fields of coronary angioplasty and stenting, as well as renal, carotid and peripheral angiography, angioplasty and stenting.
Dr Wright-Smith was registered as a medical practitioner in 1988. His cardiology training was undertaken at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane.
He completed a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at The Lahey Clinic in Boston, USA in 1998. During this time, he performed over 750 coronary angioplasties as well as training in peripheral angioplasty.
