Biography
A/Prof Preeti Choudhary completed her clinical cardiology training at Westmead Hospital, Sydney. She received the CSANZ scholarship, followed by the NHF and NHMRC post-graduate scholarship for a PhD at RPA hospital in cardiac imaging and adult congenital heart disease. She underwent further post-doctoral fellowship training in London in adult congenital heart disease and cardiac MRI. She sees patients at Westmead Hospital, Westmead Private and at the cardiac health institute Norwest.
A/Prof Choudhary has an empathetic, evidence based and structured approach to adult congenital care. She sees patients at transition in the senior clinic at Westmead Children’s hospital. She is involved in inpatient and outpatient care and performs imaging procedures including transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. She is involved in advocacy in her role as the vice president of ANZCMR, lobbying for accessible imaging.
