He has expertise in various interventions including trans-catheter aortic valve implantation, balloon valvuloplasties, transcatheter closure of PFO/ASD/PDA and renal artery denervation for management of hypertension.
Biography
Dr Ajay Sinhal is an Interventional Cardiologist, having graduated from the University of Mumbai in 1996, completing cardiology-advanced training in 2002. Dr Sinhal then completed interventional fellowships in Australia and Canada. After undertaking a one-year interventional cardiology fellowship at St Paul’s hospital in Vancouver, Canada he joined the Heart and Vascular Institute and Flinders Medical Centre as an Interventional Cardiologist. Dr Sinhal has a specialized and unique interest in trans-catheter solutions for structural heart disease including valvular pathologies.
