Biography
Dr Dharmesh Anand is Consultant Cardiologist at the Mater Hospital and a Senior Staff Specialist at the Townsville Hospital. He joined TTH in 2010. Dr Anand graduated with Honours from Patna University, India. He obtained postgraduate qualification in General Medicine and then trained in Cardiology at one of India’s premier cardiac centres, the Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi. He worked as Consultant Cardiologist in India and Bahrain, before moving to Australia in 2007.
During the course of his Fellowship in Australia he worked at the St. George Hospital in Sydney and the Wollongong Hospital before settling in Townsville.
