Level A CT Coronary Angiogram specialist and reports CT coronary angiogram studies performed at the Queensland Diagnostic Imaging radiology department in the Holy Spirit Northside Hospital. He performs both exercise and Dobutamine stress echocardiograms regularly at Queensland Cardiology.
Biography
Dr Roderick Chua is an Interventional Cardiologist and Heart Failure Specialist. He is a director of Queensland Cardiology and Fellow of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand. Dr Chua performs the full range of coronary interventional procedures and has special interests in renal artery denervation and CT coronary angiography. His coronary interventions are mostly done via radial artery access. Dr Chua graduated from the University of Sydney and completed his basic physician’s training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. He became a fellow to the Heart/Lung Transplant Unit at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney in 2003 and was involved closely with the management of end-stage heart failure patients, transplantation medicine and post-cardiac transplant care. He completed his interventional fellowship at the very busy cardiology unit of the Westmead Hospital, Sydney in 2004.
