Biography
Sylvia was trained in London at University College and The Royal Brompton Hospitals. Currently, she works at the Northern Hospital and The Epworth Hospital; as a Research Cardiologist at the Royal Womens’ Hospital, and is affiliated with the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
She also leads the Northern Tasmanian Adult Congenital Heart Disease and Cardiac MRI service, which is funded and supported by the Tasmanian Government.
Sylvia’s other positions include Adult Congenital Heart Disease representative on the ANZ CMR (Australia and New Zealand  Cardiac MRI); Deputy Editor for the Society for Cardiovascular MRI (SCMR, USA)’s Case of the Week; and member for SCMR World Practice CMR Committee. Sylvia has published previously in Adult Congenital Heart Disease.
