Simon and I have committed to complete Truegrit in October. This is a military style 10km obstacle course and we are doing this to support our friends Brooke and Jon and their son Arthur. Arthur was diagnosed with CHD before birth and has already had multiple surgeries for his life limiting condition. I myself (laura) am a heart kid and had surgery at only months old and while I’m a lucky one, it still pains us to see some of our best friends go through this journey with their own child.
We are hoping to raise awareness of CHD and also raise funds for research and development for other children like myself and Arthur. Please help us if you can.
