The HeartKids NSW Teen Connect Day is a fun, laid-back day made for teens living with CoHD to come together, make new friends, and enjoy activities in a space that’s totally safe and welcoming!
You’ll get to meet other teens who know exactly what you’re going through, swap stories, and build friendships that go beyond the day itself.

Parents and carers are welcome to attend.

What to Expect?
- Risheet Mazumdar is a 17-year-old Sydney student, artist, singer and young entrepreneur who founded Colourrish will be bringing his creative initiative to our Teen Connect Day. His art sessions are about creating fun, inclusive experiences where people can express themselves, connect and enjoy making art together, and is excited to bring that energy to our HeartKids community. Just bring your happy, chirpy self and be ready to have a good time! There’s no right or wrong way to create – come along, have a laugh, try something new and make something that’s uniquely yours. No art experience needed.
In conversation with Dr David Baker
- Facilitated informal Q & A and conversation with Dr Baker – clinical academic cardiologist specialising in Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD), advanced cardiac imaging (MRI), and pulmonary hypertension. This is an opportunity to come together as a small group for your heart teens to ask any questions.
