Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)

Formally endorsed by Reconciliation Australia, HeartKids inaugural RAP showcases our commitment to strengthen relationships, respect and opportunities with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

HeartKids is committed to walking alongside communities, listening, and working together to improve outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our vision for reconciliation is grounded in deep respect, enduring partnerships and meaningful action — acknowledging past injustices, addressing ongoing inequities, and building a more compassionate, just and connected future.

 HeartKids is proud to continue delivering our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan and our commitment to reconciliation. Due to recent organisational and funding changes, our capacity to deliver some activities has been impacted. In consultation with Reconciliation Australia, we are continuing our Innovate RAP and are navigating areas we are unable to progress with openness and transparency.
