Join HeartKids and the staff at Royal Melbourne Hospital for a teen orientation visit, providing the chance to become familiar with adult cardiac services.
During this visit you will:
- Enjoy a light afternoon tea on arrival and meet with other heart teens
- Meet and chat with members of the adult cardiac team
- Walk through the cardiac services areas and see where adult care is provided
- Have time to ask questions about what to expect as a patient in the adult hospital setting
This day is designed specifically for teens who are currently receiving paediatric cardiac care and will be moving to adult services in the coming years.
From 2pm – 3:30pm, parents/carers and teens are invited to participate in the orientation visit together.
