Riley’s Story
At our 20 week scan, Riley was diagnosed with Double Outlet, Hypoplastic Right Ventricle, Ventricular Septal Defect, (VSD), Pulmonary Atresia and Dextrocardia and his start to life was going to be tough.

Just wanted to let you know our little Bubbas CHD story, hopefully it will help others in similar situations to realise that a CHD diagnosis doesn’t have to be as truly frightening as it seems, that light can be found in the most dark & scary of places.
I was diagnosed with congenital heart disease in utero. The chances of survival were less than 2%. Within my first 6 months I had 3 heart surgeries, suffered a stroke and have since needed a permanent pacemaker.
